DCS Accessory Bundle for Seestar S50
A practical accessory set for the original ZWO Seestar S50: metal dew shield, dust cap, 2-inch filter adapter, 2-inch CLS filter and Bahtinov focusing mask with fitting hardware.
What each part does

Dew and stray-light control
The shield extends in front of the objective to reduce exposure to the open sky and some off-axis light. It can help delay condensation, but does not guarantee a dew-free lens in humid conditions. It is a passive accessory with no powered heater.
Filter compatibility
The included adapter and CLS filter provide an external filtering option. For other filters, check thread compatibility, cell dimensions and clearance: nominal 2-inch size alone does not guarantee a fit. A CLS filter does not remove every source of light pollution or improve every target. Compare filtered and unfiltered results for your conditions.
Checking focus
Fit the Bahtinov mask and view a bright star. Its diffraction pattern helps assess focus: the central spike should sit between the other two. Use the available focus controls for small adjustments, then remove the mask before imaging. It is an optional focus-checking aid alongside the telescope’s autofocus system.
Compatibility and use
- Designed for the original Seestar S50. Compatibility with S30, S30 Pro and S50 Pro is not confirmed.
- Fit accessories gently and check clearance before allowing the telescope to move.
- Remove projecting front accessories before parking or shutting down.
- Allow damp accessories to dry before storage.
