The SVBONY SV405CC is a cooled colour astronomy camera designed for deep-sky astrophotography. It excels when imaging nebulae, galaxies, star clusters, multiple star systems, and other faint celestial objects.
IMX294 Colour CMOS Sensor
At the core of the SV405CC is the Sony IMX294 sensor, featuring a 4/3" format and a high pixel count suitable for true 4K output at up to 120 frames per second. This sensor provides excellent sensitivity and dynamic range, making it ideal for capturing detailed deep-sky images.
High-Speed USB 3.0 Data Interface
With a USB 3.0 high-bandwidth interface of up to 5Gbps, the camera delivers fast data transmission for smooth image capture. It achieves 19 FPS in RAW8 mode and 16 FPS in RAW16 mode at the full 11.7-megapixel resolution.
Advanced Two-Stage TEC Cooling
The integrated two-stage thermoelectric cooling system can reduce the sensor temperature by up to 86°F below ambient. This dramatically lowers dark current and sensor noise, enabling clean, long-exposure imaging in all conditions.
Broad Software & System Compatibility
The SV405CC supports Windows, Linux, Mac OS, Chrome OS, and Raspberry Pi when using AstroDMx Capture. On Windows, it also works seamlessly with popular astrophotography platforms such as SharpCap, N.I.N.A., TheSkyX, and others when used via the ASCOM driver.
Bayer Pattern
The SV405CC uses a GRBG Bayer matrix, ensuring accurate colour reproduction and compatibility with major stacking and calibration software.
2- Stage TEC Cooling
Cooling System: The two-stage TEC cooling, the SV405CC cooled color astronomy camera can lower the CMOS sensor temperature to 30°C Celsius below ambient temperature, which can greatly reduce dark current generation and sensor noise even during longer exposure times.

AR Coating
The coating of the protective glass increases the transmittance of the infrared band.
