SVBONY MK127 Maksutov-Cassegrain OTA
The SVBONY MK127 Maksutov-Cassegrain OTA features a 127mm effective aperture and an f/11.8 focal ratio. Its three-element Maksutov optical system, combined with high-reflectivity dielectric mirror coatings and a built-in flat-field design, delivers excellent image sharpness and contrast across the field.
This telescope is particularly well suited for detailed lunar and planetary observation, revealing fine surface features and crater details, while also performing well on compact deep-sky objects.

High-Performance Optical Design
High-Performance Optics: The MK127 features a built-in flat-field design combined with a three-mirror Maksutov-Cassegrain optical structure and a separate secondary mirror. This advanced configuration effectively corrects coma and astigmatism, delivering sharp, high-contrast images across the field. With mirror reflectivity exceeding 99%, contrast is significantly enhanced, allowing detailed views of planetary nebulae, globular clusters, and fine lunar and planetary features.
0.65× Focal Reducer Included: The included 0.65× focal reducer reduces the focal ratio from f/11.8 to approximately f/7.8. This widens the field of view, making it easier to frame larger celestial objects and improving efficiency when imaging extended targets.
127mm Effective Aperture: With a 127mm clear aperture and an f/11.8 focal ratio, the MK127 balances strong light-gathering capability with excellent resolution. This makes it equally capable for high-contrast planetary observation and detailed deep-sky viewing.
Dual-Speed Focuser: The dual-speed focusing system features a coarse focus knob for rapid initial adjustment and a fine focus knob for precise tuning. This allows accurate focus control for both visual observation and imaging.
1.25" and 2" Eyepiece Interfaces: Both 1.25" and 2" eyepiece interfaces are included, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of eyepieces and imaging accessories and allowing flexible configuration for different observing needs.
Key Features
- 0.65× Focal Reducer: Reduces the focal ratio from f/11.8 to f/7.8, expanding the field of view and making it easier to capture larger objects in a single frame.
- 127mm Aperture: Provides strong light-gathering power while maintaining high resolution for both planetary and deep-sky targets.
- Dual-Speed Focusing System: Coarse and fine focus knobs allow fast initial focus and precise final adjustment for optimal image clarity.
- Dual Eyepiece Interfaces: Supports both 1.25" and 2" accessories for maximum compatibility and flexibility.

Designed with a 127mm objective lens, the MK127 provides brighter, clearer views of faint celestial objects such as nebulae and star clusters.

Exceptional image quality is achieved through the flat-field design and three-element Maksutov optical structure, ensuring pinpoint stars and consistent sharpness across the field of view.

The intuitive dual-speed focusing mechanism allows fast rough focusing and precise fine adjustment, helping you achieve crisp, high-contrast images with ease.

The 0.65× focal reducer enables wider framing and improved composition when imaging larger celestial targets.

The dual 1.25" and 2" eyepiece interfaces provide flexibility to tailor your observing setup to your preferred eyepieces and accessories.
