M42–CS Adapter
This precision adapter allows you to connect CS or C-mount lenses directly to astrophotography cameras with an M42 interface, expanding compatibility with a wide range of compact imaging lenses.
Description
The Astroasis M42–CS Adapter is designed to attach a C-mount or CS-mount lens to any astronomical camera that uses an M42×0.75 (T-thread) interface. This makes it ideal for planetary imaging, guiding setups, and compact lens-based astrophotography.
The adapter features an external M42×0.75 male thread, an internal 1-1/32" (C/CS) thread, and has a total thickness of 7 mm. It is CNC-machined from aluminium alloy for strength, durability, and precise optical spacing.
Two small unpunched holes are located on opposite sides of the adapter. These do not allow any light leakage, but make it easier to unmount the adapter from cameras when required.
