SVBONY UHC Filter (Ultra High Contrast) – Light Pollution Reduction for Nebula Imaging
A UHC (Ultra High Contrast) filter is designed to improve contrast on many emission nebulae by reducing common wavelengths from artificial light pollution while allowing key nebular emission lines to pass. This can make nebula structure stand out more clearly for visual observing and for astrophotography—particularly from suburban or urban skies.

What a UHC Filter Does
This filter is designed to enhance nebula visibility by transmitting major nebula emission lines while suppressing much of the off-band light associated with common artificial lighting. It is commonly used for improving contrast on targets such as emission nebulae and many planetary nebulae.

Coatings & Mechanical Build
The filter features multi-layer coatings designed to reduce reflections and improve transmission. The body is precision-machined from metal for durability and stable fitment in use.

Spectral Performance
