Description
Although a filter drawer may appear to be a simple accessory, the Astroasis drawer is carefully engineered for function, compatibility and user convenience. Every detail—from the smooth sliding action to the magnetic locking mechanism—has been designed for practical astrophotography use.
Features
M54, M48 and M42 threads are widely used across telescopes, cameras and astro accessories. Many systems use different thread types, which often leads to compatibility issues.
To solve this, each side of the filter drawer can be configured as M54, M48 or M42 in either male or female orientation. This means the drawer can be adapted to match virtually any astrophotography setup without needing to buy different drawers for each thread type—saving both cost and complexity.
The Basic Set includes a filter drawer frame, the filter slider itself and the ring-loosen tool. Thread rings are optional add-ons if additional thread sizes are needed.
Appearance
The drawer features a beautifully finished circular design that is both visually clean and mechanically solid.

Comfort & Ease of Use
The drawer uses four strong neodymium magnets, eliminating the need for screws or clamps. The slider locks securely into place and cannot fall out accidentally, while the extended drawer handle makes pulling the filter slider smooth and effortless.

Every set includes a ring-loosen tool. On rare occasions when a ring binds or becomes too tight to remove by hand, this tool makes removal effortless without damaging the drawer.

All parts are designed for completely screw-free operation. Changing rings or adjusting the drawer does not require any tools—making it fast and convenient in the field.
