Safe, Durable & Reliable Solar Viewing

About 95% of the Sun’s light is suppressed by the internal ceramic prism. The remaining light is further reduced by the pre-installed ND3.0 filter. The fully enclosed housing and integrated heat trap ensure that no stray light escapes, making this wedge one of the safest ways to view the Sun.

Usage Notice

Only for use with refractor telescopes without rear corrector lenses.
Do not use with reflectors or catadioptrics – internal components may be damaged by heat.

Brightness Adjustment

The wedge produces polarised light. You can adjust image brightness by adding a standard polarising filter to your eyepiece or camera adapter (not included). We recommend the BRESSER 1.25" polarising filter (item no. 4946464).
