Its robotic operation allows for automatic or on-demand calibration frames from any capture software compatible with the ASCOM Cover Calibrator standard, such as NiNa 2.x, Voyager, and SGP. We've also upgraded connectivity options to suit your needs, offering everything from classic USB to wireless connections via Bluetooth and BLE through the mobile app.

We understand not all users prefer Windows or may use alternative capture systems, which is why we've designed the RB Focus eXcalibur with cross-platform tools. You can now control the device through our innovative RB Focus Virtual Pad app, coming soon to iOS and Android. This app, unique in the astrophotography world, lets you store brightness presets for different filters, control the panel, and much more—right from your phone, tablet, or iPad!

Thanks to the high-resolution ADC, the panel delivers a wide range of light intensities, allowing you to fine-tune brightness with unmatched precision to achieve perfect flats with just the right ADUs. Your images will be flawlessly flat and free from imperfections, even with the fastest optical systems on the market.

With the new dynamic brightness adjustment available in the latest NiNa update, you can now create a parameter table for each filter and access it directly from the advanced sequencer. You’ll be able to schedule the device to perform all calibration frames at the end of your session—and forget about it until your imaging is done!

Our obsession with design and simplicity led us to create a device that’s incredibly easy to mount and dismount. No complex tools are needed—install it on your OTA in just 3 minutes. When it's time to remove it, simply open the panel, loosen one screw, and slide the module back. The dovetail mounting system guarantees a secure attachment of both the motor and panel to the telescope tube.
