Low Noise IMX662 CMOS Sensor

The SC311 uses the Sony IMX662 colour CMOS sensor with STARVIS 2 technology, offering very low read noise, no amp glow, and enhanced sensitivity in the red and near-infrared (NIR) spectrum. These characteristics make it particularly suitable for EAA and planetary imaging.

Built-in 2.4GHz WiFi Connectivity

Integrated 2.4GHz WiFi allows the camera to create its own wireless hotspot, supporting connection from up to four devices simultaneously. Compatible with both Android and iOS systems, this enables shared live viewing and control without cables.

Wireless Outdoor Astronomy Use

With an effective WiFi transmission range of up to approximately 10 metres, the SC311 allows flexible outdoor observing without the restrictions of USB or data cables, improving ease of setup in the field.

Built-in Battery and TF Card Storage

A built-in 2400mAh lithium battery provides up to approximately four hours of continuous operation. The camera includes a built-in 32GB TF card, allowing images and videos to be stored directly without using mobile device storage.

SvbonyAstro Control Software

The SC311 is operated using the SvbonyAstro mobile application, allowing live viewing, image capture, video recording, and file management directly from a phone or tablet. Captured data can be saved to the internal TF card and shared easily when required.

Removable UV/IR Cut Protective Glass

The camera features a removable UV/IR cut protective glass with high transmission in the 400–700nm visible range. Removal allows experimentation with infrared or ultraviolet imaging when used with appropriate filters, though care should be taken to avoid dust contamination.

1.25-Inch / CS / C Mount Compatibility

Supplied with 1.25-inch, CS, and C mount adapters, the SC311 can be used with a wide range of telescopes, filters, and compatible camera lenses without the need for additional adapters.
