Wanderer Dew Terminator – Dew Heater & DC Switch Controller

The Wanderer Dew Terminator is a compact yet powerful dew heater and DC switch controller designed for serious astrophotography setups. Fully ASCOM compatible, it provides intelligent, closed-loop dew control to keep optics dry while preventing unnecessary overheating and power waste.

Intelligent Dew Control

Using real-time data from the included ambient temperature and humidity sensor, the Dew Terminator continuously calculates the environmental dew point. Each dew heater is automatically regulated to maintain a temperature safely above the dew point, ensuring effective condensation prevention without degrading image quality.

For advanced users, constant temperature and manual power control modes are also available, giving full flexibility over your imaging setup.

Flexible Power & Output Configuration

• 3 × PWM-controlled 12V dew heater outputs (independent control)
• 3 × always-on 12V DC outputs for cameras, accessories, or power distribution
• PWM outputs can be switched to on/off DC mode if dew control is not required

This makes the Dew Terminator ideal not only as a dew controller, but also as a compact DC power hub for portable and observatory-based rigs.

• 1 × ambient temperature & humidity sensor (dew point calculation)

Software & Compatibility

The Wanderer Dew Terminator integrates seamlessly into ASCOM-based imaging systems, allowing monitoring and control directly from supported astrophotography software.

Compact & Mountable Design

With its ultra-compact aluminium housing, the Dew Terminator fits easily into space-constrained setups. Integrated M4 and M6 threaded mounting holes allow secure attachment to dovetail bars, mounting plates, or custom brackets.
