The ZWO Finder Shoe Mount is a versatile mounting accessory designed for use with the ASIAIR Pro and ZWO holder rings. It allows secure attachment of a finder scope or compatible accessories while keeping your astrophotography setup compact and organised.
Connection Methods
1. Mounting to ASIAIR Pro
Use the two supplied M4 × 8 mm screws to attach the finder shoe directly to the ASIAIR Pro. The mounting position is flexible and allows installation on the rear or either side of the ASIAIR Pro, depending on your layout and cable routing.
2. Attaching a Finder Scope
Once the finder shoe is secured to the ASIAIR Pro, slide your finder scope into the shoe and lock it in place using the side clamping screws.
The ASIAIR Pro can then be fixed to your telescope using the standard dovetail groove.
3. Mounting to ZWO Holder Rings
Use the two supplied M4 × 8 mm screws to attach the finder shoe directly to compatible ZWO holder rings for ASI cameras.
